Artistic Lighting to Brighten Up Semanggi Interchange

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency's Intersection Construction Division Head, Hananto Krisna disclosed, his dept. continues to try beautifying the Semanggi Interchange with artistic lighting in the railing and the bottom.

"Lighting includes railing and bottom of the bridge's beam will be made artistically to add to the beauty of the city. We use LED that can be set through smart system," he expressed, Tuesday (7/25).

Semanggi Interchange Opens Traffic for Evaluation

He disclosed, lighting would be divided into three parts. For streetlight, will use the high mass lighting pole. 

"We install 18 units, consisting of 14 units that have been installed since a long time and 4 other units are newly installed," he stated.

While for railing part, there has been dot lamp and 1,514 LED lamps are installed for part of the bottom box girder.

"In overall, the development has reached 97 percent. It is just leaving finishing stage prior to open traffic trial, that will fall on July 29, 2017," he closed.
